Have you been thinking about taking the plunge, to start using Twitter in your classroom? Many of us think of Twitter as a place to share pictures of our latest meal or as the place where industry gurus post their greatest observations. It’s common to wonder: How can we use Twitter in a meaningful way—especially in a classroom? Join me to learn about Twitter as a tool for: Communication with stakeholders, a window into a live learning environment, building relationships within your community, a way to connect and learn from others all over the world, and engage your students! Tweets!  Not just for the birds!

I am an Elementary and Special Education teacher with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction K-12 and a Specialist Diploma in Educational Leadership. I've taught children in Kindergarten through 6th grade; and have been a Building Resource Coordinator/Curriculum Technology Partner and an Elementary Instructional Coach with Grand Forks Public Schools. I am currently a Secondary Curriculum Technology Partner.
